Lead Delivery Manager

Role overview

Own delivery outcomes across client engagements, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget and quality. You will bring structure and transparency to complex consultancy work, adapt to different client environments and help teams operate effectively when priorities, risks and requirements are changing.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain delivery plans, tracking progress against milestones, budget, quality and agreed outcomes. - Monitor team performance and overall delivery health. - Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, dependencies and blockers. - Establish clear communication with internal and external stakeholders through regular updates. - Facilitate key meetings, ceremonies and decision-making sessions. - Maintain delivery governance through accurate decision records, action tracking and constructive challenge. - Help resolve conflicts and support teams in overcoming delivery obstacles.

Requirements

- Proven project or delivery management experience in consultancy or client-services environments. - Understanding of commercial delivery models and how to achieve client or customer outcomes. - Experience contributing to project discovery or strategy work. - Strong communication, stakeholder-management and facilitation skills. - Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Ability to remain focused and effective under pressure.

Nice to have

- A recognised delivery qualification, such as Scrum or PMP.
