Lead Full Stack (Laravel/ React)

Role overview Lead the full-stack engineering effort on a fast-scaling SaaS platform that powers global remote-work equipment management. Working from Amsterdam in a hybrid setup, you will shape architecture across a Laravel backend and React.js frontend, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to deliver polished user experiences for thousands of business customers.

Responsibilities - Drive end-to-end technical decisions across frontend and backend layers, balancing product velocity with long-term platform health - Design and ship APIs and reusable UI components that improve consistency and development speed - Coordinate and mentor a team of three or more engineers, supporting their growth and raising engineering quality - Translate complex technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders and contribute to cross-team initiatives - Champion test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and high usability standards across the product

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience - 8+ years of professional experience building production applications with Laravel and React.js - Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS, and MySQL 8 - Demonstrated success leading technical projects and coordinating engineers across larger teams - Track record of driving engineering initiatives that influenced other teams or the wider organisation - Background in product-led environments with multiple product and engineering groups - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Nice to have - Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and broader DevOps tooling
