Role overview
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android from a shared React Native codebase. The work combines feature delivery with interface quality, performance tuning, native integrations, and dependable app releases, in collaboration with design, backend, and growth colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Build mobile features with React Native and TypeScript. - Create polished, accessible interfaces that feel at home on both iOS and Android. - Profile and improve performance, launch time, and app size. - Integrate native modules, in-app purchases, analytics, and remote configuration. - Write tests and contribute to a reliable, efficient release process. - Coordinate with designers, backend engineers, and the growth team.
Requirements
- At least three years building production apps with React Native. - Strong TypeScript and modern React skills, including hooks, state management, and data fetching. - Familiarity with the React Native New Architecture and Expo. - Ability to work with Xcode and Android Studio and create small native modules. - Testing experience with tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Maestro. - Experience publishing and maintaining apps on both the App Store and Google Play, plus clear English communication in a remote team.
