About this role
Role overview A product design role on a small team building software for the business side of the creator economy. The designer will own established product surfaces end to end, working directly with product and engineering to diagnose usage, sharpen experiences, and ship improvements at a steady cadence within a live, fast-moving SaaS platform.
Responsibilities - Own the experience of established product lines, from diagnosis through redesign, iteration, and ship. - Take loosely defined briefs and return with elevated, well-considered design solutions. - Design across diverse real-world states including sparse data, dense data, mobile, desktop, embedded, and standalone contexts. - Build interactive prototypes that feel tangible to engineers during implementation. - Operate inside a shared design system, reusing existing patterns by default and proposing new ones when justified. - Run lightweight user testing sessions on prototypes and fold learnings back into the design.
Requirements - Portfolio demonstrating range across industries or product types, including work in unfamiliar problem spaces. - Startup-native mindset, comfortable with shifting priorities mid-flight while maintaining a positive attitude. - Low ego and high resilience, treating rejected design directions as part of normal iteration. - Comfort with ambiguity, forming a point of view from incomplete information and validating it with users. - Strong craft across components, variants, responsive layouts, and prototyping, with a sharp eye for visual detail. - Clear, direct communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration across US and European time zones.
Nice to have - Experience working with real-time analytics, social platform metrics, or talent-management tooling.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role based on the East Coast. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 25 days of PTO, sick days, and a winter break. - Retirement planning with employer match, phone and internet reimbursement, and a professional development stipend. - Home office allowance for new joiners, up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, and volunteer days. - Company-paid life and disability insurance with optional voluntary coverages.
