Senior Product Designer (Freelance)

Role overview A global wellness apps company is looking for a freelance Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end experience work across one of its flagship health and fitness applications. The role partners closely with growth, product, and engineering to design onboarding funnels, engagement features, and conversion experiments that reach tens of millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities - Run the full design process from user research, wireframes, and prototypes to high-fidelity production visuals. - Work iteratively on design experiments across onboarding and in-app experiences to lift conversion and average order value. - Design user-centered interfaces that respect both Apple and Android platform conventions. - Drive projects autonomously while contributing actively to ideation, critique, and team rituals. - Use product analytics and experimentation to inform design decisions and improve retention and engagement. - Embed deeply with product managers, engineers, content designers, and user researchers to ship intuitive experiences.

Requirements - Exceptional visual design craft with strong Figma proficiency (components, auto-layouts, variables). - Demonstrated experience iterating on mature design systems. - Proven track record designing mobile applications for both Apple and Android, plus close collaboration with marketing teams. - Comfort using analytics and data-driven experimentation (e.g., Amplitude, Tableau) to guide improvements. - Experience synthesizing research into design experiments using qualitative and quantitative signals. - Familiarity with usability testing platforms such as Maze or Great Question. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an independent yet team-oriented work style. - Understanding of user psychology, behavioral design, and habit-forming product principles. - Active interest in AI tools to streamline the design workflow from idea to handover.
