A remote, full-time senior art role on a small, agile game development team focused on building high-quality, cartoon-style games. The position is built around creative freedom, collaborative iteration, and individual ownership of art output, with artists expected to influence the full look and feel of shipped titles.
Responsibilities
- Drive the ongoing development of the visual style and overall art direction across active and upcoming releases. - Create production-ready characters, buildings, and environments that integrate directly into the game. - Develop visual concepts and pitch ideas for future projects and content drops. - Contribute artwork and visual input to animation, community, and marketing initiatives. - Iterate independently from early sketches through final renderings and in-engine tweaks.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating consistent, production-quality work in a cartoon style. - Ability to produce concept sketches as well as polished final assets and animation tweaks. - Working proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. - Demonstrated pride in craft and ability to work independently with minimal oversight. - Constructive attitude toward receiving feedback from teammates and leads. - Appreciation for user interface design.
