About this role
Role overview
Lead product design for an enterprise content-management system that lets marketing teams create, govern, localize, and publish content across multiple sites, channels, and AI agents. This staff-level role combines deep interaction and visual craft with systems thinking, technical collaboration, and a focus on making complex content infrastructure feel clear, trustworthy, and efficient for both people and automated agents.
Responsibilities
- Own the experience from discovery and UX strategy through prototyping, detailed design, launch, and post-launch refinement. - Define how enterprise teams author, organize, govern, localize, and publish structured content across interconnected surfaces. - Design experiences that support human marketers as well as AI agents querying, composing, and operating on content. - Establish coherent interaction models across authoring tools, content systems, publishing workflows, and localization experiences. - Partner upstream with product managers, engineers, and researchers on product strategy, content models, API affordances, and architecture. - Present work to cross-functional partners and senior leaders, incorporating feedback while maintaining a clear product point of view. - Raise standards for design craft, process, and responsible use of AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - At least 7 years of product-design experience, with a portfolio showing substantial work on ambiguous problems in complex products. - Demonstrated ability to make interconnected systems and sophisticated workflows feel simple and understandable. - Experience with content systems, multi-user workflows, enterprise products, or agentic experiences is especially relevant. - Comfort collaborating with engineers on API design, data modeling, content architecture, and other technical constraints. - Strong interaction and visual-design craft, including fluency with AI-assisted exploration or prototyping. - Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, test assumptions early, and balance strong opinions with collaborative humility.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first, full-time, permanent role available in the United States and in British Columbia or Ontario, Canada. - Geographic base-pay ranges apply; the role also participates in a company-wide performance bonus program. - Permanent employees receive equity, health coverage, paid parental leave, flexible vacation, paid holidays, a sabbatical program, mental-health resources, retirement support, and monthly work and wellness stipends.
