About this role
Role overview Drive cross-functional technology programs that support mergers and acquisitions, from initial technical discovery through post-close integration. The role sits inside a Corporate Technology Programs & Portfolio Management function and is responsible for translating deal strategy into executable integration roadmaps that consolidate environments, automate processes, and minimize disruption. The position is remote, with a preference for East Coast working hours to align with the team.
Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery sessions with stakeholders from both acquiring and acquired organizations to map infrastructure, systems, data flows, and integration points. - Drive application rationalization, recommending which platforms to consolidate, retire, or migrate after close. - Run business analysis activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and translation of business needs into functional and technical requirements. - Design migration strategies and manage end-to-end execution of integration and merger projects. - Produce runbooks, project schedules, work breakdown structures, and recurring program status reporting for leadership. - Coordinate technical teams to clear blockers, maintain focus on value delivery, and ensure outcomes against predefined KPIs.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline. - Background in IT and business applications program management within a technology company. - PMP certification and hands-on experience with Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban. - Ability to learn technology environments quickly, including systems architecture, software design principles, and how systems interact. - Working knowledge of testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and software deployment and integration patterns. - Strong business analysis skills covering requirements elicitation, process and data analysis, and process flow diagramming.
Nice to have - Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Coupa, ServiceNow, Tableau or other BI tools, JIRA, Monday.com, and the Microsoft 365 + Confluence collaboration stack. - Understanding of business processes spanning sales and adjacent go-to-market functions.
