Principal Product Operations Manager

Role overview A senior Product Operations leader will own the central systems, reporting, and processes that keep a product organization aligned and execution-ready. Operating as the connective tissue across a hybrid centralized/embedded Product Ops model, this principal-level role blends tooling administration, analytics, and process design into a single, broad mandate. It is well suited for a generalist who thrives in small, fast-moving teams where priorities shift and ownership spans systems, data, and workflows.

Responsibilities - Administer and evolve the core product roadmapping platform, including workspaces, fields, workflows, scorecards, and permissions, while managing integrations with engineering work-tracking tools and the broader product tech stack. - Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give leadership and embedded product teams a trustworthy view of roadmap status, delivery progress, and portfolio health. - Define and track core product operations metrics such as cycle time, roadmap adherence, planning hygiene, and tool adoption, and coordinate telemetry and BI builds with central data teams. - Design and document repeatable processes for planning, prioritization, intake, and roadmap reviews so teams work consistently rather than reinventing cadences pod by pod. - Run quarterly and annual planning cycles, roadmap reviews, and business reviews, ensuring decisions translate into updated systems and visible execution. - Identify and remove friction points and manual work in the product development lifecycle, partnering with Finance, RevOps, and Engineering to bring commercial and delivery data into prioritization.

Requirements - 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Business or Sales Operations, or a Product Analyst/Product Management role supporting a product or engineering organization. - Hands-on experience with roadmapping or PPM tools (such as Aha!, Productboard, or Jira Product Discovery) and work-tracking systems (such as Jira, Linear, or Azure DevOps). - Comfort building dashboards and reports inside the PPM tool or in Tableau, Looker, or Google Sheets/Excel, with SQL as a plus. - Working knowledge of PDLC and SDLC processes, including roadmaps, backlogs, sprints, and prioritization frameworks such as RICE or WSJF. - Demonstrated ability to design and document repeatable processes for intake, prioritization, and planning rather than only running an existing cadence. - Strong analytical skills, a generalist mindset, comfort facilitating conversations where strategy and execution are in tension, and the ability to work autonomously on a small team.

Nice to have - Practical use of LLM-based tools to augment workflows, dashboards, and research. - Experience supporting 0-1 products alongside mature product lines, and tailoring processes to each launch profile.
