Senior Engineering Manager, AI Team

Responsibilities

- Manage and coach a team of engineers through regular feedback and career development - Structure and sequence work, communicating status and quality metrics across deliverables - Partner with Product to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and engineering plans - Build and sustain a high-performing, inclusive team culture - Contribute directly to design and implementation of production systems - Own architectural decisions involving API design, integrations, and infrastructure - Lead operational readiness including observability, AI system evaluation, and testing - Keep AI applications efficient and cost-effective as usage scales

Requirements

- Six or more years of production experience with Python - Two or more years managing an engineering team - Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML tools and frameworks - Track record of shipping complex systems with significant customer impact - Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels - Strong written and verbal communication skills
