A senior quality engineering position focused on a Salesforce platform and its integrated enterprise ecosystem. The role blends deep manual testing leadership with hands-on Java automation, owning end-to-end quality across complex cross-functional initiatives. The position partners closely with developers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to drive release readiness and continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end and integration test scenarios spanning multiple system components and complex cross-system workflows - Lead hybrid manual and automated testing efforts for Salesforce and connected enterprise platforms, balancing exploratory depth with sustainable regression coverage - Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites using Java-based frameworks, reviewing results and investigating failures - Analyze defects, defect trends, and quality metrics to surface systemic, process, or coverage issues, and manage the full defect lifecycle - Assess release readiness using test results, defect data, quality risks, and agreed quality gates, recommending mitigations with clear data-driven rationale - Mentor less experienced QA engineers and contribute to testing standards, metrics, and QA community practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering, including hands-on Java-based test automation - Strong grasp of manual test design techniques, risk-based testing, release quality assessment, automation strategy, and QA methodologies - Experience producing strategic test plans, test designs, test cases, test reports, and release quality assessments - Practical API and web services testing skills, including automated API checks and evidence collection - Solid Java programming skills for test automation and ability to write SQL/SOQL queries for validation and troubleshooting - Experience defining or applying quality gates, test metrics, and release readiness criteria
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, Selenium, TestNG, Git, Maven, REST API tools like Postman, TestRail, and Jenkins CI/CD
