C# Developer (Veeam Backup for Hypervisors)

Role overview This position focuses on backend development for a data protection platform built around virtualization and hypervisor backup. The engineer will strengthen the platform's architecture and component stability, with a particular emphasis on shortening the time and effort required to onboard support for new hypervisors so that integrations become faster and more predictable. The work is collaborative, partnering with seasoned engineers to continuously improve how a hypervisor-backup product is built and scaled.

Responsibilities - Design and implement business logic for products in the virtualization space, covering platforms such as RHV, Nutanix, and Proxmox VE - Develop new product capabilities and maintain or extend existing functionality - Contribute to both individual components and the broader architecture of the platform - Improve integration workflows so support for new hypervisors can be added with reduced time and risk - Collaborate with senior engineers on stability, scalability, and design improvements

Requirements - At least three years of experience contributing to commercial software projects - Strong proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the .NET platform - Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and core software design principles - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, REST APIs, multithreading, and version control with Git - Comfort working on Windows and Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu) - English sufficient for communication with international teams

Nice to have - Hands-on experience developing for virtual infrastructure such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V - Familiarity with QEMU/KVM
