Role overview The QA Analyst safeguards the quality, reliability, and performance of a SaaS platform that automates and models complex sales compensation plans for global revenue teams. Working under senior staff guidance, the analyst validates features and bug fixes across the Incentives application, contributing to a seamless end-user experience.
Responsibilities - Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression cycles prior to release. - Validate REST API responses and verify database interactions to confirm correct system behavior. - Identify, document, and prioritize defects in issue-tracking tools, providing clear reproduction details for small-to-medium projects. - Design happy-path and negative test scenarios from given requirements and estimate testing effort. - Retest resolved defects and confirm fixes do not break existing functionality. - Partner with developers and QA peers to analyze technical problems, escalating blockers to leads when needed, and suggest process improvements.
Requirements - 0–2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance. - Foundational knowledge of manual testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle. - Familiarity with JIRA or comparable defect-tracking tools and Postman for API testing. - Basic understanding of REST APIs and database testing concepts. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with clear written and verbal communication. - B2-level English or higher, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
