Product Designer - Core UX
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A product designer is sought to help shape shared experiences and systems connecting a suite of sports technology products into a more unified platform. The role sits within a Core UX team responsible for design foundations that help products feel clear, consistent, and connected, covering shared patterns, information architecture, video and data, and systems that enable product teams to build at scale. The work spans cross-product design problems and emerging technologies such as AI, translating complexity into intuitive experiences for coaches, athletes, and supporting teams.
Responsibilities
- Solve design problems that cross features, products, and workflows, considering how individual decisions fit the broader platform - Translate complicated workflows, information, and technical constraints into experiences that feel clear and intuitive - Partner with product, engineering, and other designers to understand problems and explore solutions that work at scale - Learn directly from customers and use research and product data to inform, test, and iterate on ideas - Run scoped design projects independently, from early exploration through implementation and post-launch measurement
Requirements
- Strong product design craft, with the ability to turn complex requirements into clear, intuitive experiences - Systems thinking, comfort working through ambiguity, and a natural tendency to look for connections across workflows - Collaborative communication, with the ability to explain thinking, seek feedback, and work through different perspectives - Comfort talking with customers and using research, product data, and other evidence to make and evaluate design decisions - Active use of AI tools in the design process and curiosity about how AI changes product interactions - A strong portfolio showing reasoning, collaboration, and iteration, not only final solutions
Nice to have
- Experience designing complex or connected products that span multiple workflows or surfaces - Background designing data-rich or technical products
Benefits and work setup
- Candidates within commuting distance of London offices are considered, with remote options open to UK-based candidates
