Job details
About this role
Role overview
Lead the product strategy for an experimentation platform that helps teams run more reliable, consistent, and valuable tests. This principal-level role combines platform product management, quantitative decision-making, and cross-functional leadership across Machine Learning, Analytics, Engineering, and product teams. The work includes shaping long-term foundations while enabling near-term experimentation for evolving and AI-enabled products.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the platform strategy and multi-quarter roadmap, balancing immediate needs with scalable long-term capabilities. - Partner with Engineering, Machine Learning, and Analytics to support randomized experiments, model deployments, feature flags, and related experimentation patterns. - Create shared abstractions, standards, and guardrails that reduce fragmentation and improve the quality of product and technical decisions. - Establish experimentation practices and enablement programs that help teams adopt stronger methods and evaluate results consistently. - Work with stakeholders across growth, servicing, capital, and other business areas to understand needs, prioritize investments, and drive adoption. - Evaluate when vendor tools or internally developed capabilities best support the platform strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus 7+ years in product management. - Experience owning strategy and roadmaps for technically complex software, platform, infrastructure, data, or developer-facing products. - Experience partnering with engineering, data science, Machine Learning, or Analytics teams on architecture, trade-offs, and delivery. - Experience building or leading an experimentation platform within a consumer technology organization or experimentation technology provider. - Knowledge of randomized experiments, feature flags, model experimentation, metric design, and statistical evaluation. - Ability to explain technical and quantitative concepts clearly, align multiple teams, and connect shared platform capabilities to broader product priorities.
Benefits and work setup
The role is remote, with the team operating across East and West Coast time zones. Most work can be completed remotely, with periodic in-person team sessions generally held once or twice per quarter for several consecutive days. The broader package includes health coverage, retirement support, paid leave, family and caregiving programs, wellness and productivity allowances, and community or team events.
