About this role
Role overview An Enterprise Application Engineer role supporting a national law firm's practice management and financial systems, with a focus on Elite 3E Time Management and Finance. The position partners closely with business stakeholders to keep critical applications stable, performant, and continuously improving, and reports to the IT Director. The firm operates in an Azure cloud environment and uses multiple integrated business applications across its offices.
Responsibilities - Administer, support, and optimize enterprise applications across finance, accounting, timekeeping, and practice management systems. - Design, develop, and support SQL queries, scripts, and integrations that enable business operations and reporting. - Build and maintain application integrations using APIs and scripting languages such as PowerShell or C#. - Administer and develop business and IT processes using Power Automate. - Support Azure-based enterprise applications, including Azure AD app registrations, authentication, and integrations. - Administer Windows Servers, SQL Servers, and Azure Fabric, and participate in upgrades, patching, and monthly maintenance. - Troubleshoot complex application and data issues across integrated systems and manage vendor relationships.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including query development, optimization, and basic DBA-level tasks such as job creation and performance tuning. - Experience with API integrations and scripting, plus working knowledge of Azure Enterprise Applications and Power Automate. - Experience with Elite 3E Cloud, its integrations, and dependent systems. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have - Microsoft or related certifications. - Prior law firm or other professional services environment experience.
