This position sits at the intersection of cloud security expertise and hands-on content creation, focused on building realistic lab environments that simulate both offensive and defensive cloud scenarios. The role is embedded in a product team developing a cyber resilience platform, partnering closely with senior cloud security engineers and content developers to shape the rollout of cloud security learning material. It is a remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and build practical cloud security labs and challenges covering AWS, Azure, and GCP environments - Develop multi-format learning content including hands-on exercises, knowledge checks, and gamified scenarios - Test and validate labs end to end to ensure correct functionality, realism, and educational value - Research emerging cloud security threats, tools, and techniques to inform new content and roadmap priorities - Collaborate with engineering and content teams on new product features and how best to deploy them - Translate complex cloud security concepts into engaging, intuitive learning experiences for a global audience
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with cloud security across one or more major providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Strong understanding of cloud-native security concepts including Kubernetes, cloud SIEM, and infrastructure hardening - Demonstrated ability to create technical content such as labs, tutorials, challenges, or training material - Research skills for tracking emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and defensive best practices - Collaborative mindset for working across content, engineering, and product teams - Genuine passion for cybersecurity education and a desire to disrupt traditional training approaches
Nice to have
- Background in offensive security, red teaming, or defensive security operations - Experience with gamification, instructional design, or adult learning principles - Familiarity with building or operating simulation or lab platforms at scale
