Job details
About this role
Role overview A partner engineering role focused on scaling the technical capabilities of an EMEA partner ecosystem rather than closing individual deals. The position owns the technical relationship for a portfolio of 20–30 strategic partners—including systems integrators, digital agencies, ISVs, and technology alliance partners—and helps them confidently design, build, and sell solutions independently. It sits within a Product Experience function, working closely with partnerships and account teams on enablement, co-sell, and ecosystem strategy.
Responsibilities - Build and execute technical enablement plans across the partner portfolio, including training, certification paths, sandbox environments, workshops, tech talks, and office hours, and help shape the partner certification program. - Review partner-built accelerators, integrations, and marketplace apps for architecture, performance, and alignment with platform best practices, providing clear technical feedback. - Partner with internal account teams on technical discovery, architecture reviews, demos, and proofs of concept for partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities. - Guide partners on reference architectures and integrations across commerce, digital asset management, search, personalization, customer data platforms, and emerging technologies. - Act as a technical resource on data governance, GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations when designing solutions. - Apply practical AI tools and agentic patterns, including the Model Context Protocol, to accelerate partner workflows and solution design.
Requirements - Significant experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or partner engineering within enterprise software, ideally around content, digital experience, or composable platforms. - Strong understanding of composable architectures, headless content, and the wider digital experience ecosystem. - Working knowledge of agentic AI patterns, including MCP, with hands-on experience integrating generative AI into applications. - Working knowledge of GDPR, data residency, and EU hosting considerations for digital experience platforms. - Ability to translate fluently between external technical partner teams and internal product and engineering stakeholders. - Comfort traveling up to 25% to partner sites, customer locations, and industry events.
Nice to have - Business fluency in a second European language alongside English. - Experience with CMS or DXP vendors, with systems integrators and agency partners implementing them. - Familiarity with commerce platforms, search and personalization tools, and partner program mechanics such as deal registration, PRM, co-sell tooling, and certification tiers.
Benefits and work setup - Salary range of €80,000–€100,000 depending on skills and experience. - Remote-friendly culture with a globally distributed team and an emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.
