Senior Software Engineer, AI

Role overview Build and operate AI-enabled software that helps simplify financial workflows in healthcare. You will work across product and engineering, bringing customer-facing capabilities into core product experiences while creating dependable services other engineers can reuse. The role is fully remote within the United States and aligned to US business hours.

Responsibilities - Work with subject matter experts to design meaningful evaluations for AI features. - Build and operate customer-facing features integrated into core product workflows. - Develop and maintain internal services with stable interfaces for other engineers. - Take AI workflows into production with observability, fallback approaches, and attention to operating cost. - Partner with product stakeholders to decide when AI is suitable and when another approach is better.

Requirements - At least five years of production experience with Python; backend experience in other languages is useful. - Experience shipping a complex system with substantial customer impact. - Familiarity with current AI and machine-learning tools and frameworks. - Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting and collaborate across teams. - Strong communication skills. - Current authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
