About this role
Role overview
Turn complex commercial, clinical, customer, financial, and market data into insights that guide decisions in a regulated healthcare environment. This is a strategic business analytics role focused on explaining performance, testing hypotheses, identifying opportunities and risks, and recommending what leaders should do next—not simply producing recurring reports.
Responsibilities
- Analyze internal and external data to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, risks, trends, and the drivers behind key KPIs. - Study the customer lifecycle across targeting, opportunities, pilots, launches, adoption, expansion, retention, and churn risk. - Evaluate sales cycles, win rates, pipeline quality, account potential, territory performance, market segments, forecasting, and commercial resource allocation. - Connect customer behavior, product utilization, clinical adoption, outcomes, and economic value to account health and strategic opportunities. - Combine company performance data with market, competitive, reimbursement, and industry intelligence to support planning and prioritization. - Build executive-ready analyses, dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and recommendations while improving metric definitions, data governance, automation, and self-service reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, finance, or a related discipline. - Three to six or more years of experience in business analytics, strategy, business intelligence, commercial analytics, consulting, finance, or a similar field. - Strong quantitative reasoning and the ability to turn complex datasets into clear recommendations. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or a comparable visualization platform. - Experience working with large or disparate datasets, presenting findings to senior stakeholders, and independently structuring ambiguous problems. - Strong business judgment, curiosity, communication, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, MedTech, life sciences, or another regulated sector; familiarity with hospital commercial cycles, CRM governance, healthcare privacy, SQL, Snowflake, forecasting, segmentation, automation, or executive reporting.
Benefits and work setup
- Salary range of $120,000–$175,000 annually. - Approximately 10% travel is required.
