About this role
Role overview
Serve as the senior analytical partner for a growing corporate card and spend-management product. You will turn transaction, booking, rewards, activation, and retention data into dependable metrics, dashboards, models, and recommendations for product, finance, and leadership teams. The role combines hands-on SQL analysis with data-quality ownership, experiment support, documentation, and clear communication of business findings.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards covering activation, spend volume, booking value, rewards usage, category mix, and cardholder retention. - Establish recurring reporting for core product metrics and provide stakeholders with accurate, timely visibility into performance. - Investigate unexpected metric changes, identify likely causes, document findings, and communicate implications clearly. - Write complex SQL against Snowflake data, joining and aggregating transaction, booking, rewards, and activation datasets. - Create reusable data models and reporting assets with clear definitions, refresh expectations, and known limitations. - Support A/B tests and product experiments by defining analytical frameworks, validating results, and presenting decision-ready conclusions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline such as data, economics, statistics, computer science, finance, or a related field. - At least seven years of relevant experience in data analytics or a closely related function. - Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and window functions on large datasets, plus hands-on Snowflake experience. - Experience creating and maintaining dashboards or reporting frameworks with tools such as HEX, Looker, Tableau, or comparable platforms. - Strong attention to detail and personal ownership of data accuracy, logic validation, documentation, and issue escalation. - Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience analyzing fintech, payments, card products, or financial-services data. - Familiarity with A/B testing, experiment analysis, and basic statistical interpretation. - Experience with dbt or close collaboration with analytics engineering and data engineering teams.
Benefits and work setup
The role offers meaningful ownership of metrics for a growing product, structured analytical development, senior mentorship, and opportunities to expand with the product. Compensation includes competitive base pay, equity, and possible role-dependent bonus eligibility; work may be hybrid or fully remote depending on location and employment arrangement.
