Role overview A remote Lead Business Systems Analyst position focused on SAP Sales and Distribution and Order-to-Cash solutions. The role serves as a senior liaison between Information Technology and business stakeholders, providing functional and technical leadership for complex application delivery. The position also involves project leadership, mentoring, and advising management on technology and process decisions.
Responsibilities - Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of complex business systems and integrated technology solutions. - Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to capture objectives, document requirements, and translate them into sustainable system deliverables. - Act as a subject-matter expert for SAP Sales and Distribution, Order-to-Cash processes, pricing, credit and payment card processing, payment card integration, EDI, and third-party ordering integrations. - Drive projects from concept through implementation, including scope definition, solution evaluation, planning, coordination, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and knowledge transfer. - Plan and coordinate end-to-end testing across integrated solutions, maintaining test plans, cases, results, defects, and approvals. - Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, analyzing data, coordinating corrective actions, recommending enhancements, and training users. - Mentor team members, provide functional work direction, and stay current on relevant technologies and industry practices.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, plus eight or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Advanced hands-on experience with SAP Sales and Distribution, including Order-to-Cash, pricing, credit and payment card processing, and payment card integration. - Experience with third-party ordering system integration and SAP integrations touching finance, materials management, manufacturing, or warehouse functions. - Background supporting enterprise-level applications in a manufacturing or distribution environment. - Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, technical requirements, system designs, and test plans. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across business, technical, and leadership audiences.
