Senior Data Architect (Snowflake)- Market Research - LATAM

Role overview A senior-level position focused on shaping the data foundation of a market intelligence platform that delivers forecasts, benchmarks, and analytics to organizations across advertising, media, commerce, technology, healthcare, and financial services. The role centers on Snowflake-centric data architecture, owning how large and complex datasets are modeled, landed, governed, and consumed for analytical and business use cases. The architect partners with engineering, data science, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into performant, accessible data structures across distributed, microservice-based environments.

Responsibilities - Design scalable, analytics-ready datasets that serve reporting, modeling, and downstream business consumption. - Audit existing data structures and recommend improvements to query performance, access patterns, and overall usability. - Define landing and ingestion patterns aligned with analytical, product, and operational needs. - Tune Snowflake architecture, including clustering strategies, access controls, governance, and workload performance. - Architect analytical solutions spanning multiple source systems and microservices, ensuring data is queryable at scale. - Establish and evolve organizational standards for data modeling, dataset design, and architectural practice.

Requirements - Senior-level experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database architecture roles. - Deep, hands-on expertise with Snowflake as the primary data platform. - Advanced knowledge of data modeling, dataset design, query optimization, and analytical architecture patterns. - Track record of designing scalable platforms for large, complex datasets. - Strong grasp of Snowflake clustering, permissions, performance tuning, and data governance. - Advanced SQL skills paired with solid relational database fundamentals. - Familiarity with modern data pipelines and microservice-based architectures, with the ability to translate business and analytical requirements into efficient, scalable structures.

Nice to have - Experience supporting research- or forecasting-oriented data products where source variety and analytical depth are central.
