Junior / Semi-Senior Cold-Fusion Developer - Security and Safety Solutions

Role overview Maintain, enhance, and gradually modernize legacy CFML web applications that power security and safety solutions. The role suits developers who enjoy digging into existing systems, optimizing SQL, integrating front-end and web services, and shipping reliable improvements through an Agile delivery model.

Responsibilities - Maintain, enhance, and debug existing ColdFusion (CFML) web applications. - Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. - Develop and integrate front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Diagnose and resolve application bugs, technical issues, and production errors. - Support refactoring, modernization, or migration of legacy ColdFusion codebases. - Integrate RESTful and SOAP web services into CFML applications. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimation. - Use Git for version control and maintain accurate technical documentation. - Contribute to peer code reviews and uphold code-quality standards.

Requirements - Hands-on experience with ColdFusion (CFML), Adobe ColdFusion, or Lucee. - Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL query development and optimization. - Experience integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ColdFusion applications. - Ability to debug, maintain, and enhance legacy codebases. - Understanding of web application architecture including request/response lifecycle, sessions, and forms. - English proficiency for daily communication with the client team. - Junior level: 1-2 years of ColdFusion experience delivering small features and guided bug fixes. - Semi-Senior level: 3-5 years of ColdFusion experience, independently delivering features, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in code reviews.
