Role overview A freelance Senior Software Engineer engagement, remote within Colombia, focused on Salesforce development, integrations, and enterprise technology initiatives. The role blends hands-on engineering with translating business requirements into technical solutions and supporting documentation for an approximately two-month contract.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning components - Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and common integration patterns - Support the Salesforce Marketing Cloud migration and CheckMarket integration from a technical development perspective - Develop solutions for capabilities such as survey lookup, PDF generation, and user management - Translate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation tasks - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, refinement, code reviews, and technical discussions, and create technical and API documentation
Requirements - 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Salesforce development and integration work - Strong experience with Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs and integrations - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, debugging, testing, version control, and scalable application development - Experience integrating Salesforce with external and enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs - Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously within a defined freelance engagement
Nice to have - Experience with CheckMarket, survey platforms, PDF generation, or user-management solutions - Experience supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud migrations or enterprise Salesforce integration projects
