About this role

Role overview Build and support full-stack applications and integrations for partner organizations adopting a secure AI platform, with work focused on government and national security programs. Engineers own delivery from requirements through production support, collaborating with partner teams and internal product, platform, security, and operations colleagues. Scope varies by level: senior engineers own complex features end to end, while staff engineers also shape architecture, reusable patterns, and mentorship.

Responsibilities - Deliver responsive interfaces, administrative tools, backend services, data models, and production integrations. - Clarify partner needs, define acceptance criteria, investigate defects, and break delivery into validated increments. - Connect applications and agents to platform APIs, SDKs, external services, tools, and model providers; document integrations with examples. - Build dependable asynchronous workflows with event handling, retries, timeouts, and recovery that preserve data integrity. - Implement access controls, secrets integration, and audit events; support security reviews and evidence gathering. - Adapt deployments to customer-managed cloud, private networks, and on-premises environments; test workflows, troubleshoot issues, support releases, and document handoffs.

Requirements - U.S. citizenship and 10 or more years of software engineering experience shipping and supporting production applications. - At least five years of full-stack development across modern web interfaces, backend services, APIs, and databases. - Strong frontend experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and React, Next.js, or a comparable framework. - Backend experience in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Java, or a similar language, including API design and service integration. - Experience with data modeling, relational databases, asynchronous processing, authentication, authorization, secrets, and audit logging. - Practical experience with testing, Git, containers, CI/CD, cloud or Kubernetes deployments, and debugging with logs, metrics, or traces.

Nice to have Experience with AI or LLM applications, agent integrations, retrieval-augmented generation, tool connections, workflow systems, customer-facing engineering, or restricted and on-premises deployments.
