Engineering Manager

Role overview Lead an engineering team building and scaling core software capabilities that combine AI, insurance workflows, and production systems. The role blends people leadership with hands-on technical direction, turning customer and product needs into a clear roadmap and reliable releases.

Responsibilities - Hire, mentor, and develop engineers; support performance and career growth. - Set team technical direction and translate ambiguous needs into priorities and measurable outcomes. - Guide architecture and key design decisions for scalable, secure, reliable systems. - Work with product, design, data science, customer-facing teams, and engineering leaders to deliver initiatives from planning through production. - Use AI-enabled development workflows to improve delivery speed while maintaining standards for correctness, security, and readiness.

Requirements - At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including building and operating production systems. - At least 2 years managing or technically leading engineers. - Strong technical judgment and ability to guide architecture and implementation. - Experience delivering reliable, secure software and balancing speed with quality. - Ability to turn unclear product or customer problems into actionable engineering plans.
