Software Engineer II, Fullstack

Role overview

Build and improve full-stack software for a cloud-based platform supporting clinical trial workflows. The work ranges from backend services and system architecture to user-facing features, with collaboration across product, design, machine learning, infrastructure, and teams responsible for clinical quality and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities - Develop new features for internal and external users and improve existing application functionality. - Work across backend services, platform systems, and user interfaces to solve product and operational needs. - Contribute to application architecture with attention to team practices and the product roadmap. - Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure colleagues. - Maintain code quality through review, testing, integration, and consistent engineering practices. - Support platform reliability, data integrity, and validation expectations for clinical workflows.

Requirements - Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience. - Experience working across the software development lifecycle using Python. - Practical ability to design and build Python applications using a framework such as Django or FastAPI. - Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. - Ability to learn quickly, collaborate with a distributed team, and work independently.

Nice to have - Around two to four years of full lifecycle development experience. - Experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes. - Familiarity with agile development and work in complex software environments.
