Senior Product Manager, Toast Delivery Services

Role overview

Own the roadmap for restaurant delivery products, helping operators dispatch, track, and resolve delivery orders from one coordinated experience. The work spans kitchen operations and the guest journey, with a focus on improving delivery reliability and profitability while reducing the manual decisions managers make during busy service periods. Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Set priorities and deliver the roadmap for delivery experiences, using restaurant needs and measurable outcomes to guide decisions. - Improve dispatch for orders handled by restaurant drivers or delivery couriers, helping operators understand order status and timing. - Partner with the guest experience team on ordering, live tracking, and quick resolution when delivery problems occur. - Identify opportunities to reduce manual exception handling and refunds, choosing between AI-assisted workflows and simpler rules and setting appropriate safeguards. - Explore proactive issue alerts, dispatch improvements, and ways to match delivery capacity with kitchen readiness. - Coordinate with teams working on point-of-sale, order management, guest experiences, and AI, as well as external partners and integrations.

Requirements

- Experience owning a product roadmap and delivering measurable outcomes, beyond launching features. - Strong self-direction: able to identify important problems, gather context, and move work forward. - Technical fluency to work through integrations and data with engineering partners while keeping customer impact central. - Understanding of restaurant operators’ needs during busy service and of what helps guests order directly. - Comfort working with external partners and dependencies that shape product decisions. - Willingness to use AI tools for product discovery, execution, and exploring new experiences.
