Role overview A remote professional services engineering position covering the Mountain and Pacific time zones, focused on guiding enterprise customers through the design, build, and deployment of automation workflows on a secure, vendor-agnostic platform. The role sits within customer success and serves as a technical authority who partners with engagement, project, and product teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients in IT and security.
Responsibilities - Scope, design, build, and deploy automation stories inside customer tenants, connecting disparate tools via APIs. - Analyze customer environments, processes, and pain points to shape a workable automation roadmap. - Live-wireframe and demonstrate workflow concepts to customers during calls to validate direction early. - Define test plans, review optimization opportunities, and hand off documented, production-ready stories. - Partner with project and engagement leads to verify scope, timelines, and success criteria. - Contribute to evolving professional services processes and advocate for service capabilities alongside sales counterparts.
Requirements - 5+ years delivering professional services and implementing SOAR or similar automation platforms. - Strong customer-facing, trusted-advisor experience guiding architecture and adoption best practices. - Comfort interpreting API documentation and using authentication methods such as OAuth2 and JWT. - Hands-on experience troubleshooting APIs against a range of security and IT tools. - Working understanding of LLMs, agents, and automation models, including prompt design and the trade-offs between AI-driven and deterministic workflow steps.
Nice to have - Background helping operators develop product-led capabilities for non-technical end users.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role based in MST or PST; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Target annual earnings of $120K–145K with an 80/20 base-plus-variable split.
