Role overview
A pre-sales technical role focused on Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners in the cloud security space. The position drives joint technical strategy and solution development with top-tier MSPs, helping them build, price, and scale managed security offerings that protect multi-cloud estates. It combines hands-on technical depth with partner enablement, industry evangelism, and up to 40% travel.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and joint solution development with MSP partners - Build and deliver demos, technical enablement, and architectural messaging - Engage deeply with partner technical teams to build champions and accelerate deals through integrations - Serve as a technical evangelist and trusted advisor at partner and industry events - Help partners construct a robust technical delivery and business model around the platform - Align architectural decisions with the global MSP team strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of cloud security expertise spanning CSPM, CIEM, IaC security, containers, and serverless architectures - Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure - DevSecOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or CloudFormation, and shifting security left - Solid foundation in operating systems, virtual machines, container orchestration, and cloud identity (IAM, certificates, keys) - Proven pre-sales track record engaging C-level executives at technology partners - Understanding of how MSPs build, price, and scale managed security offerings, manage SLAs, and work with internal engineering and SOC teams - Legal right to work in the role's country without visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Written and spoken proficiency in German - Experience securing cloud AI/ML workloads (Bedrock, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic) and discovering shadow AI - Familiarity with agentic workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and AI guardrails - AI-driven SOC operations, MDR offerings, CNAPP, eBPF, and Kubernetes admission controllers - Data security posture management and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FedRAMP)
