Backend/Research Engineer

Role overview Build backend and research systems for AI that uses context from people’s activity to provide assistance across devices. The work spans early-stage system design, long-term context and memory, and shipping product features that can be measured in production.

Responsibilities - Design and build greenfield systems for context-aware AI. - Develop context-management and long-term memory capabilities. - Extend AI assistance to mobile, desktop, and other device types. - Ship product improvements frequently and assess their impact with real usage. - Turn challenging AI and context problems into reliable user-facing features.

Requirements - 1–3 years of engineering experience. - Strong grounding in building scalable systems. - Ability to translate complex technical challenges into production-ready products. - Experience or interest in AI and large language models. - Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with frequent releases.
