Senior OneStream Consultant

Role overview Lead the technical design and delivery of complex financial planning, budgeting, and reporting systems built on OneStream. You will translate government finance requirements into scalable application architecture, set engineering standards, and guide a team of consultants through implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities - Design OneStream modules, multidimensional data models, and technical blueprints for planning and financial close workflows. - Set quality standards and review business rules, dashboards, and data integration work. - Build and tune custom business rules and assemblies with VB.NET or C#, alongside advanced SQL procedures. - Diagnose application bottlenecks and improve memory use, queries, data loads, and consolidation performance. - Lead integration design across data pipelines, REST APIs, access roles, and single sign-on; contribute technical artifacts for authorization reviews. - Advise customers and senior stakeholders on architecture, project risks, and mitigation; delegate work and mentor developers in an Agile team.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, information systems, or a related area; at least 10 years of progressive technical experience. - At least 5 years of hands-on OneStream development and technical leadership on enterprise implementations. - Strong object-oriented programming skills in VB.NET or C#, and advanced SQL experience with SQL Server or Oracle. - Deep knowledge of corporate performance management, multidimensional OLAP cubes, financial rules, and consolidation. - Experience across system design, performance optimization, administration, cloud architecture, software development, and deployment. - Strong communication skills for technical presentations and architecture reviews.

Nice to have A relevant master’s degree; experience installing and configuring OneStream XF; familiarity with federal budgeting and financial systems; and OneStream or government financial management certifications.

Benefits and work setup Fully remote, full-time position. The listed compensation range is $148,200–$263,000, with final pay depending on experience, skills, location, education, certifications, and contract requirements.
