Remote job
Senior Product Designer - AI
Job details
About this role
Role overview A fully remote opportunity for a senior product designer to shape how artificial intelligence operates within a journey management platform used by large enterprises. The role sits on a dedicated Intelligence team working on agentic capabilities and embedded AI assistance, with responsibility for defining the human–AI relationship across the product. It is a position for someone who treats trust, control, and ambiguity as the core craft, not as edge cases.
Responsibilities - Drive the roadmap for AI-powered experiences, converting ambiguous problem spaces into concrete bets and backing them with prototypes rather than long documents. - Design the human–AI collaboration model: where users stay in control, where the system can take more initiative, and how that balance evolves as confidence grows. - Define trust and control moments such as review, steering, approval, and reversal that make AI outputs feel safe inside enterprise workflows. - Originate new interaction patterns for expressing intent and receiving reliable, intelligent results, including waiting, cost, and error recovery states. - Partner closely with product management, engineering, and research to translate newly possible capabilities into shipped user value. - Contribute to and evolve the design system so emerging AI patterns become reusable foundations across the product.
Requirements - A senior product designer with a portfolio that demonstrates judgment on ambiguous, 0→1 problems, not only polished final screens. - Genuine fluency with AI-first design processes, including hands-on prototyping with modern generative models. - A proactive ideation style: identifying the important problem independently and bringing a clear point of view. - Strong prototyping instincts and comfort being early, being wrong publicly, and revising direction quickly. - Systems thinking: able to define a new interaction pattern, reason through its consequences, and recognise when to break one's own rules. - Experience designing for B2B or otherwise complex software, with familiarity in customer journeys, service design, or research practice considered a strong plus.
Nice to have - Background in customer experience, journey mapping, or service design disciplines. - Comfort working with enterprise constraints around scale, compliance, and multi-stakeholder review.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote with flexible hours and asynchronous collaboration tools. - Competitive compensation with pre-IPO equity for permanent employees. - Minimum 25 days of paid holiday plus public holidays and a three-day winter shutdown. - Health insurance support tailored to the employee's location. - Learning and development budget and a separate wellbeing allowance. - Generous paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers, plus paid childcare leave. - Home office or co-working budget, with a laptop of choice (MacBook Air or Pro). - Periodic in-person company events and offsites for team connection.
