About this role
Role overview A health benefits technology company is hiring a Product Manager to own a core product surface end-to-end. Responsibilities - Drive strategy, prioritization, execution, and continuous improvement for a full product surface. - Collaborate with engineering and design to ship products that are easy to use, dependable at scale, and trustworthy. - Use qualitative and quantitative signals to surface opportunities, measure impact, and refine the customer experience. - Work across engineering, operations, finance, support, and go-to-market functions to untangle complex customer and business problems. - Convert ambiguous problem spaces into clear plans and guide the team through thoughtful tradeoffs and decisions.
Requirements - Four to six years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of products or product areas. - Strong systems thinking, including the ability to reason through complex workflows, edge cases, and tradeoffs. - Technical fluency sufficient to partner with engineers on architecture and implementation choices. - Demonstrated ability to operate across functions on operationally complex initiatives. - Clear communication and sound judgment when engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have - Background building products in healthcare, benefits, fintech, or another regulated industry. - Hands-on ownership of billing, payments, ledgers, or other money-movement systems. - Experience improving operational workflows or internal tools that reduce manual effort and increase reliability. - Track record of defining strategy for an early-stage or ambiguous product area.
Benefits and work setup - The team emphasizes ownership, fast iteration, learning from customers, and collaborative problem-solving across titles. - Hiring process is structured to be thoughtful and efficient, typically completed within about three weeks, and includes conversations with a recruiter, the hiring manager, cross-functional teammates, and executive leadership.
