Job details
About this role
Role overview Coordinate infrastructure, security, and compliance work while serving as a clear point of contact for customer questions. You’ll manage requests from intake through resolution, translate technical topics for business and technical audiences, and align internal teams on scope, ownership, and timing. The role calls for technical fluency and project leadership rather than hands-on engineering.
Responsibilities - Join customer conversations to explain infrastructure, deployment options, security controls, and compliance practices in accessible terms. - Guide security reviews, due diligence questionnaires, and evidence requests, involving engineers when detailed technical input is needed. - Convert customer needs into scoped internal work with owners, timelines, dependencies, and clear follow-up. - Plan and coordinate projects across IT, security, compliance, automation, and infrastructure teams; track decisions, risks, and blockers. - Maintain reusable customer materials such as architecture summaries, security overviews, and standard questionnaire responses. - Manage the request pipeline, provide regular status updates, and report on volume, turnaround, and recurring needs; use AI tools to support planning and documentation.
Requirements - Five to eight years in technical project management, technical account management, or customer-facing delivery. - Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence presenting to executives, IT leaders, security reviewers, and technical teams. - Working fluency with cloud infrastructure concepts, security practices, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001; engineering experience is not required. - A track record of managing cross-functional work with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. - Ability to learn unfamiliar technical subjects quickly and explain them clearly. - Highly organized, with consistent written updates, follow-through, and ownership through completion.
Nice to have - Experience with enterprise software or AI customer security reviews, vendor due diligence, or audits. - Exposure to government or regulated customers, including FedRAMP, and deployment models such as multi-tenant, single-tenant, customer-cloud, or on-premises. - PMP or CompTIA Security+ certification, or experience at a systems integrator, enterprise software company, or growing startup.
