Job details
About this role
Role overview
Own the developer journey for a broad infrastructure platform, helping developers discover its capabilities, build useful applications, and reach production. This hands-on product role combines technical product leadership, developer experience, and product-led growth, with responsibility for a six-person team spanning developer relations and growth engineering. Success is measured by meaningful adoption and revenue, including how quickly developers move from signup to working applications.
Responsibilities - Lead engineers creating and maintaining production-quality sample applications, integrations, templates, and reference implementations, and use them in technical content and demonstrations. - Improve developer onboarding and self-service growth by using product analytics, behavioral signals, automation, and direct assistance to reduce friction and increase activation, conversion, retention, and expansion. - Work directly with APIs, SDKs, documentation, and infrastructure to identify usability problems and coordinate fixes with product engineering. - Build automated workflows for developer acquisition, onboarding, account insights, technical support, and expansion with growth engineering and revenue operations partners. - Connect developer content and applications to experimentation, production use, product feedback, and revenue outcomes.
Requirements - Strong software engineering background, including experience building and debugging applications, using APIs, reading code, and working with complex infrastructure. - Experience shipping software in a technical product, founding engineer, technical founder, or comparable role. - Strong product judgment for developer tools, APIs, documentation, onboarding, and usability. - Understanding of product-led growth across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and monetization. - Familiarity with AI infrastructure, language models, cloud platforms, real-time systems, or developer infrastructure. - Able to use coding agents, automation frameworks, product analytics, and modern developer tools; communicate complex technical ideas clearly; and lead a small team while staying hands-on.
