About this role
Role overview Drive enterprise-scale technology delivery as a senior project leader, guiding complex, cross-functional initiatives from intake through deployment and benefits realization. The role partners with business, security, infrastructure, applications, and vendor teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned to enterprise strategy, governance, and measurable outcomes. There is also an opportunity to help build out an emerging IT PMO function.
Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive project plans spanning priorities, stakeholder requirements, resources, dependencies, budgets, risks, and delivery timelines. - Oversee execution of large enterprise IT initiatives, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards that support operational readiness and adoption. - Manage scope, change control, issue identification, and contingency planning across multi-disciplinary delivery teams. - Serve as the primary communications contact with executive sponsors, business stakeholders, IT leadership, delivery teams, and external vendors. - Ensure delivery activities comply with governance, security, privacy, change management, architecture, procurement, and operational standards. - Lead readiness reviews, transition planning, post-implementation retrospectives, and continuous-improvement practices across the portfolio.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, project management, or a related field; master's degree preferred. - Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. - Typically 8+ years leading enterprise IT, infrastructure, applications, security, data, or business technology initiatives, including complex cross-functional efforts. - Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects across enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Workday, ServiceNow, CRM, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, data, or integration technologies. - Strong grounding in change management, stakeholder readiness, communication planning, adoption support, and transition-to-operations practices. - Recognized expertise in enterprise IT project delivery, governance, risk management, and cross-functional execution.
Nice to have - Healthcare or professional services delivery experience. - Experience mentoring junior project staff and contributing to PMO build-out.
