Salesforce Architect/Lead | Contract | Remote

Role overview Lead the architecture and ongoing improvement of a Salesforce platform, combining long-term technical direction with hands-on configuration and development. You’ll work with an administrator, business stakeholders, and a business analyst to turn operational needs into secure, scalable solutions and maintainable platform practices.

Responsibilities - Set the Salesforce architecture direction and design solutions that support business objectives and growth. - Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and shape them into technical designs. - Configure and enhance workflows, flows, automation, security, and data management. - Build custom functionality with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs as needed. - Review existing processes, integrations, and platform performance; recommend improvements. - Establish development standards and governance, and provide technical guidance to colleagues.

Requirements - At least 7 years of Salesforce experience, including 3 or more years in architecture. - Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience, including enterprise-scale implementations. - Expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, plus Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs. - Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and governance. - Experience guiding platform strategy and roadmaps, and working directly with business and executive stakeholders. - Clear communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have - Salesforce architecture certifications, Experience Cloud experience, or integrations with ERP, marketing automation, or other enterprise platforms. - Background leading Salesforce modernization efforts or working in consulting and client-facing settings.
