Senior Software Engineer

Role overview This remote-first Senior Software Engineer role sits on a Care Team Enablement team building internal tools that help clinical and outreach staff serve patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Most product workflows live on the Salesforce platform, supplemented by TypeScript services running on AWS, so the role blends declarative platform development with hands-on service engineering in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

Responsibilities - Own complex features end-to-end, turning ambiguous requirements into designs, building, testing, shipping, and handling post-release work. - Develop on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning components, SOQL, and platform APIs, partnering with the team's Salesforce administrator. - Design and maintain TypeScript services and integrations running on AWS alongside the Salesforce stack. - Apply AI-assisted development tools in daily work and help the team identify where they earn their keep. - Maintain healthy delivery infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and deployment tooling. - Review code for correctness, security, and maintainability, raise technical risk early in sprint planning, and mentor engineers through design feedback.

Requirements - 5+ years delivering production software in a planned-yet-agile environment. - Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning components, and platform APIs. - Depth in TypeScript and Node or comparable server-side language. - Experience designing and operating services on AWS using Lambda, SQS/SNS, and IAM, with PostgreSQL for relational data. - Experience with CI/CD and deployment pipelines, including the testing that makes them safe. - Proven ability to convert business requirements into technical designs and own features through production. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have - Experience building software that handles PHI under HIPAA or comparable regulated data. - Background with telephony or contact center platforms, healthcare, or high-growth startups.
