Job details
About this role
Role overview This role sits on the Revenue Operations team and owns the technical systems that power a SaaS go-to-market organization serving small and midsize businesses. The position blends hands-on engineering with revenue strategy, building automations, integrations, and data flows that make sales, marketing, and customer success teams faster and more effective, with room to apply AI across the funnel.
Responsibilities - Design and build scalable workflows, automations, and integrations spanning the full customer lifecycle. - Optimize inbound lead handling, including enrichment, qualification, scoring, routing, follow-up, and speed-to-lead. - Connect campaigns, web and product engagement signals, lead data, and downstream sales workflows, and support outbound prospecting infrastructure. - Act as the technical lead for the HubSpot ecosystem, owning advanced workflows, custom objects, data models, APIs, and integrations. - Integrate CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, and customer success platforms using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and data pipelines. - Identify manual processes and bottlenecks, then build automation and AI-driven workflows that improve accuracy, scalability, and team productivity. - Build custom scripts, services, and internal tools where native platform capabilities fall short, with strong testing, documentation, and monitoring standards. - Maintain GTM data architecture and troubleshoot complex system, integration, and data issues.
Requirements - Background in GTM engineering, revenue operations engineering, business systems engineering, or a comparable technical role. - Deep experience with HubSpot or another enterprise CRM, including automation, data modeling, APIs, integrations, and complex workflow design. - Hands-on work optimizing product-led and sales-led motions such as enrichment, routing, lifecycle management, and outbound support. - Proficiency in JavaScript and Python, plus SQL, with comfort working across APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and relational data models. - Familiarity with automation or data tools such as Zapier, Workato, Make, Hightouch, Clay, or similar platforms. - Understanding of how sales, marketing, customer success, and operations connect across the customer lifecycle, and the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
Nice to have - Experience applying AI or agentic workflows to lead qualification, enrichment, research, outreach, and onboarding.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first within the U.S., with the option to work from a collaborative headquarters in Atlanta for those based in the metro area. - Base salary in the $130,000 to $150,000 range, plus bonus and stock options. - Four weeks of paid time off plus paid holidays. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, fertility benefits, parental leave, and a 401(k) with company match.
