Role overview
A growing technology company is hiring a Salesforce Lead to own Salesforce architecture, governance, and execution across its go-to-market workflows. This techno-functional role bridges business process and system design, covering Sales Cloud, Pardot/Account Engagement, DealHub CPQ, and future customer data platform evaluation. The position partners with RevOps, Marketing Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Data teams to deliver clean, scalable CRM systems and reliable lead-to-cash operations.
Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce platform architecture across GTM workflows, including objects, fields, permissions, automations, integrations, and release control. - Translate cross-functional requirements from RevOps, Marketing Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Data into clean system design and controlled execution. - Maintain governance for new fields, objects, flows, validation rules, permission sets, integrations, reporting dependencies, and documentation. - Own system design for leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, activities, campaigns, lifecycle stages, routing, renewals, expansions, and customer handoffs. - Partner with Marketing Operations on Pardot/Account Engagement, campaign data, lifecycle stages, scoring, consent, routing, attribution, and funnel reporting. - Lead evaluation of future CDP and marketing cloud platforms and, if a platform is selected, drive phased implementation planning with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Lead, Senior Admin, or Consultant in B2B SaaS or comparable environments. - Strong command of Salesforce architecture, data model, automation, permissions, and integrations. - Experience with Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and marketing-to-sales workflows. - Hands-on experience with CPQ tools (DealHub or comparable) across lead-to-cash and quote-to-cash. - Experience integrating Salesforce with downstream systems such as data warehouses, Finance, marketing, and order management. - Demonstrates AI literacy with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CDP or marketing cloud platform evaluation such as Salesforce Data 360, SFMC Advanced, Adobe, or Oracle Responsys.
