Remote job
Senior Product Manager
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior product leader is needed to own an AI-focused product squad that builds conversational search and a protocol connector, allowing customers to find content through natural-language descriptions and to access a media library from inside AI assistants. The position is highly visible and cross-functional, partnering with engineering, data science, design, research, marketing, and analytics to set direction and ship measurable outcomes. The role is remote within the United States and reports into product leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the squad roadmap, turning open-ended questions about search quality, memory, and connector distribution into a prioritized plan with clear business impact. - Define and monitor metrics that reflect AI product quality, separating real signals from vanity indicators and iterating when results fall short. - Align engineering, data science, design, research, and product marketing on shared OKRs and rally the team to deliver against them. - Run experimentation at scale, designing pre/post and A/B tests with platforms such as Statsig, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or Amplitude. - Use qualitative methods including customer interviews, usability studies, and discovery sessions to guide prioritization. - Manage launches that require legal review and approval from third-party platforms such as AI app directories. - Reason about the cost of AI interactions and translate that into packaging, pricing, and product strategy. - Communicate roadmap and priorities clearly to audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
Requirements
- Track record of shipping AI features to customers with a metric attached, rather than internal pilots or strategy decks. - Hands-on experience with evaluations, relevance tuning, ranking, or model selection. - Background owning search, discovery, recommendations, or personalization products. - Experience running high-volume experimentation with tools like Statsig, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or Amplitude. - Comfort working directly with data science or ML teams and contributing to technical discussions. - Demonstrated ability to act as the sole PM on a squad, owning outcomes end to end. - Skill in articulating roadmap priorities to both technical and executive audiences. - Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and being transparent about confidence.
Nice to have
- Shipped an LLM-powered product to general availability. - Experience with developer-facing or platform products such as APIs, connectors, or plugin ecosystems.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first position open to candidates across the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with company contributions. - 401(k) plan with company match. - Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and flexible sick and bereavement leave. - Parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents. - Stipends for remote workspace setup and ongoing internet and phone costs. - Reimbursements for professional learning and access to an in-house leadership coach. - Wellness perks including a financial wellness program, a food delivery subscription benefit, and an employee recognition program. - Casual dress culture and company-sponsored team events, mentorship, and meetups.
