Role overview A Product Manager role owning the borrower servicing experience at a fintech lending marketplace that refinances consumer debt through a network of credit union and bank partners. The PM leads end-to-end discovery and delivery of features that help borrowers manage and repay their loans, while also supporting lender partner integrations and back-end platform configuration. It is a hands-on ownership seat, partnering with engineering, design, and business stakeholders and using data and AI tooling to ship outcomes.
Responsibilities - Lead discovery and delivery of borrower-facing servicing features that make managing, repaying, and staying current on loans intuitive. - Translate partner servicing requirements into product requirements alongside lender implementation teams, supporting go-lives with credit union and bank partners. - Maintain and evolve servicing platform configuration, including loan settings, borrower communications, and platform-level changes. - Drive initiatives to reduce delinquency and improve payment behavior, including self-service improvements, payment plan optimization, and enrollment experiences. - Apply AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, and other repetitive tasks. - Build working knowledge of loan sales, collections, and disbursements workflows with growing ownership over time.
Requirements - 2-5 years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment with real end-to-end ownership and accountability. - Demonstrated product craft: framing problems clearly, translating them into executable requirements, and driving delivery within an agile product lifecycle. - Strong product sense with attention to user experience and clear communication with cross-functional partners. - Comfort using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and documentation. - Data-informed decision making and ability to work across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
Nice to have - Experience in fintech, consumer lending, or a regulated environment. - Familiarity with loan servicing, payments, collections, or capital markets. - Experience delivering product changes with bank, credit union, or platform partners. - Running A/B tests or product experiments to improve conversion, engagement, or user behavior. - SQL proficiency and familiarity with BI or product analytics tools.
