Job details
About this role
Role overview This role sits within the Investing domain of a brokerage-as-a-service platform that gives fintechs, banks, and wealth managers API-based access to European capital markets. As Product Manager, you will own a roadmap of capabilities that large financial-institution partners depend on, working across internal engineering, risk and compliance, partner teams, and a sister organization whose way of working differs from yours.
Responsibilities - Own the roadmap for partner-critical Investing capabilities from problem framing through launch, adoption, and iteration - Embed in a cross-functional crew with operations and engineering, while engaging other product teams, solutions engineering, external partners, and risk, finance, and compliance colleagues - Prioritize commitments against the domain strategy using quantitative and qualitative evidence, and communicate trade-offs internally and externally - Ensure partner-specific integrations are built with longevity in mind rather than as one-off fixes - Engage directly with enterprise partners and prospects: scoping requirements, negotiating delivery, and prioritizing - Collaborate with counterpart teams at the parent banking group on joint product opportunities, translating between two organizational cultures - Track market and regulatory developments and bring insights back to the team
Requirements - At least 2-3 years of product experience independently shipping highly complex products - Comfort with ambiguity: ability to define a problem space, structure it, and move forward without a handed-off spec - Argument style grounded in data and evidence, with willingness to iterate when evidence changes - Clear written communication across documentation, decisions, specs, and partner correspondence - Daily use of AI tools, with curiosity to push what they can do - Professional fluency in English and German
Nice to have - Experience in regulated fintech, brokerage, or B2B environments
Benefits and work setup - Competitive salary based on experience and impact - Flexible hours with shared core collaboration window from 12:00 to 16:00 - Hybrid work from anywhere in Germany, with individual contributors expected on-site in the Berlin office at least 4 days per month for team events, onsites, offsites, and dinners - Regular mentorship, a career development framework, frequent feedback conversations, and an annual learning budget - Deutschlandticket sponsorship for employees on unlimited contracts and a 50% discount with a partner for financial education - Workation: remote work from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days, up to 60 days per year total - Annual company-wide offsites and onboarding celebrations
