Software Engineer, AI Data - West Palm Beach, FL, USA

Role overview Build data pipelines and processing systems that supply audio datasets for AI model training. The work spans finding data sources, improving large-scale data operations, and partnering with research teams to support new models. You’ll own projects from initial problem discovery through implementation and ongoing refinement.

Responsibilities - Find audio data sources and build dependable pipelines to bring them into training datasets. - Develop and improve large-scale processing systems, balancing data quality, throughput, and cost. - Work with AI scientists to improve datasets and support model development. - Lead engineering work through discovery, delivery, and continued improvement.

Requirements - Degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - At least five years of professional software engineering experience and strong backend fundamentals. - Proficiency with Python and Bash in Linux environments. - Experience building and operating production systems; data pipelines or large-scale processing experience is especially relevant. - Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work independently amid ambiguity.

Nice to have - Experience with web crawling, data acquisition, or distributed processing. - Cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code experience, especially GCP and Terraform. - Familiarity with machine learning datasets, data quality, or audio processing.
