Role overview
This position supports a government-focused technology services team delivering impactful solutions to federal clients. The role centers on executing functional and entry-level automated tests within Agile delivery teams, helping ensure that software releases meet quality, stability, and compliance expectations before deployment.
Responsibilities
- Review requirements and user stories to design and execute manual and basic automated test cases. - Identify, log, and track software defects using standard issue-tracking tools. - Run regression tests after bug fixes or new feature releases to confirm existing functionality remains stable. - Create and maintain test documentation, test scripts, and end-of-cycle status reports. - Partner with Agile team members during sprint planning, testing, and defect resolution activities.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience with functional testing, test case and script development, and defect management processes. - 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript. - 1 to 3 years of experience working within Agile methodologies. - 1 to 3 years of experience contributing to a test automation strategy. - Working knowledge of collaboration and QA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. - Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
