Role overview A hands-on senior individual contributor role on the technical marketing team for a cloud-native security and zero trust networking platform. The position bridges field engineering, product management, and core engineering, driving technical validation, demo readiness, and enablement for next-generation branch and digital experience products.
Responsibilities - Own hands-on proof-of-value engagements, architectural demos, and pilot evaluations with enterprise prospects and customers - Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual network lab topologies that mirror real-world deployments - Serve as the primary technical escalation bridge between field teams and core engineering - Author production-grade technical collateral including deployment runbooks, reference architectures, and competitive test plans - Deliver enablement sessions, hands-on workshops, and webinars for solutions engineers, professional services, and partner architects
Requirements - 10+ years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, product management, or solutions architecture - Demonstrated track record leading customer POV pilots and executive-level architectural evaluations - Deep proficiency building and maintaining multi-vendor physical and virtual network labs - Advanced packet analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic generation tools to diagnose routing, latency, jitter, MTU, and NAT or firewall traversal issues - Active, ongoing exploration of AI tools with a history of integrating them into daily workflows
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with cloud network frameworks such as AWS Transit Gateway and VPC, GCP Cloud Router, or Azure Virtual WAN - Background with network observability and monitoring solutions
Benefits and work setup Remote position reporting to the Director of Product Management. The posted base pay range for this full-time role is $196,000–$245,000 USD, with commission, bonus, or equity possible in addition.
