Role overview A product-oriented senior full-stack software engineering role at a healthcare technology company building clinical AI for hospital revenue cycle teams. The position is described as backend-leaning, roughly 75 percent backend and 25 percent frontend, and involves shipping user-facing products that surface clinical insights such as notes capture, diagnosis refinement, and content generation. The work is fully remote within the United States and centers on translating complex clinical requirements into incremental, well-scoped software.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and launch new multi-product features and improvements to the company's applications. - Build reusable, responsive, accessible frontend components used across products. - Collaborate with product managers, clinicians, and other engineers to understand users and iterate on ideas. - Apply secure coding practices that protect patient privacy and data security. - Research and advocate for improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team. - Support and maintain the applications in production environments.
Requirements - 5 or more years of software engineering experience focused on user-facing solutions. - Strong expertise with Python, TypeScript, and React. - Experience working with systems that leverage large language models. - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or a similar relational database. - Track record of owning web applications end-to-end, from requirements through QA and delivery. - Experience partnering with product managers to plan, build, and iterate on deliverables in a security-conscious environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, plus a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have - Experience at a scale-up or rapidly growing technology company. - Background designing information-dense user interfaces. - Health tech or clinical software experience. - Experience working with Kubernetes.
Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $190,000 to $230,000 USD. - Fully remote within the United States, with unlimited PTO and 11 holidays. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage with the company covering roughly 75 percent of premiums. - Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birth or adoption. - 401(k) through Fidelity with a 4 percent match, supporting both traditional and Roth contributions.
