Senior Product Manager

Role overview Lead product planning and delivery for software that helps structural steel estimators turn engineering drawings into takeoffs and bills of materials. This hands-on role owns product outcomes end to end, from understanding customer workflows and choosing where AI can help to setting priorities and giving engineering clear requirements.

Responsibilities - Own a 12–24 month product roadmap aligned with business and go-to-market goals. - Balance platform investment, technical debt, and feature work, and keep priorities clear across engineering, sales, and customer success. - Translate strategy into scoped epics, stories, and tickets with acceptance criteria; guide sprint planning and backlog readiness. - Anticipate dependencies and edge cases so delivery can proceed without avoidable ambiguity or delays. - Conduct customer discovery through interviews, feedback sessions, and observing estimator workflows; use findings to define problems and shape solutions. - Explain product decisions and roadmap direction to customer-facing teams, and turn customer and market input into prioritized engineering work.

Requirements - At least five years building and shipping customer-facing B2B SaaS products in a startup or high-growth setting. - Track record of taking a product from an early stage to measurable customer or business impact. - Comfort discussing architecture, data, and technical trade-offs with engineering teams without needing to code. - Experience working directly with customers and applying what you learn to product decisions. - Ability to write thorough, clear requirements engineers can build from. - Accountability for outcomes such as adoption, retention, or workflow improvements—not only feature delivery.
